Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the competency-based supervision model and differentiate it from treatment-based and developmental approaches to clinical supervision and Identify and apply the nine required components of competency-based supervision (orientation/CBO, agenda use, supervision contract, training plan, competency assessment, client outcome monitoring, supervision documentation, attestation procedures, and remediation processes).
2. Recognize and address problems of professional competence in supervisees, including early identification, documentation, and remediation planning.
3. Describe the structure, guidelines, and purpose of supervision-of-supervision as a mechanism for supervisor development and standardization.
